COMMUTERS are facing rush hour chaos after a crash on a busy Scots motorway has sparked huge delays.
Drivers have been warned they face delays of at least half an hour after a HGV lorry overturned on the M73 this afternoon.

Emergency crews raced to the scene on the southbound sliproad at junction 4 at the Maryville Interchange at around 12.25pm.
The crash happened on the slip-off road where the M73 joins the M74 in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire.
The busy stretch of the southbound road is currently closed as crews deal with the incident.
It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.
Traffic Scotland has warned that traffic is really heavy in the area, creating huge delays.
They warned commuters they face waits of approximately 26-30 minutes.
They have also urged drivers to avoid the area and use an alternative route.
Police are currently at the scene of the crash.

Recovery crews are also at the scene and have managed to flip the truck.
A clean-up operation is underway after fuel spilled onto the road after the crash.

Posting X, formerly known as Twitter this morning, Traffic Scotland wrote: “UPDATE 17:10.
“The M73 Slip Southbound remains CLOSED heading onto the M74 due to a collision.
“Emergency services are at scene. Recovery and clear up is underway.
“Delays of approx. 26 minutes”.
A Police Scotland spokesperson said: “Around 12.10pm on Thursday, 4 April, 2024, police were called to the M73 at the M74 flyover, following a report of a one-vehicle crash involving a lorry.
“Recovery was arranged and partners contacted regarding a fuel spillage on the road.”
