COMMUTERS are facing rush hour chaos after a crash on a busy Scots motorway has sparked huge delays. Drivers[1] have been warned they face delays of at least half an hour after a HGV lorry overturned on the M73 this afternoon.

The crash happened on the M73 where it joins with the M74Credit: GOOGLE MAPSEmergency crews[2] raced to the scene on the southbound sliproad at junction 4 at the Maryville Interchange at around 12.25pm. The crash happened on the slip-off road where the M73 joins the M74 in Uddingston, South Lanarkshire[3].
The busy stretch of the southbound road is currently closed as crews deal with the incident. It is currently unknown if anyone has been injured as a result of the crash.
