The NX Group Shows Support for MND with New-Look Fleet

NATIONWIDE logistics business, The NX Group has become a driving force in the fight against Motor Neurone Disease helping to raise awareness across the length and breadth of the UK. This week, the Daventry-based firm unveiled new branding on its nine 12 tonne vehicles to raise awareness of MND as well as vital funds for the Northampton-based MND Association, the largest MND charity in the UK.  The vehicles, which make up the core of the company's 43 strong fleet, travel an average of 60,000 miles every year securely delivering products on behalf of its clients.

As a proud, privately-owned business, the company has chosen to partner with the MND Association as it's a cause especially close to the heart of the Managing Director, Neil Powell and his family. He explained: "My grandmother died from MND more than 40 years ago. As a business, and as a family, we have supported this amazing cause with adverts for the charity having previously appeared on our vehicles.

We've also held countless fundraising events over the years. "By adding MND Association branding to a number of vehicles in our current fleet we hope to raise awareness and keep the conversation about motor neurone disease going wherever our fleet travels." MND Association relationship fundraiser, Roger Widdecombe, said the money raised would help to drive vital research into MND as well as support for people with MND and their families.

He said: "We are incredibly grateful to The NX Group for choosing to support the MND Association in this way - the lorries look incredible and the money raised will really help to drive our work forward. If you see a lorry simply scan the QR code to donate, if it's safe to do so. "For people with MND this partnership really matters and will make a big difference."
