Two lanes closed as car overturns on M6 northbound

Emergency services on the scene as Christmas Eve disruption between Junction 32 and Junction 33 Motorists heading out on Christmas Eve are being warned of long delays on the M6 northbound due to an overturned vehicle. National Highways North West and Lancashire Police are at the scene close to Forton Services.

There are delays of at least 40 minutes approaching the scene before Junction 32 (Broughton) and Junction 33 (Garstang) of the M6.

The crash took place around 5pm on Christmas Eve (Wednesday 24 December). Two lanes are closed and delays are expected until around 9pm on Christmas Eve with the delays starting around the Broughton slip road.
