Logistics UK showcases the best in the supply chain
The logistics sector gathered in style on 11 December 2025 for a glittering gala dinner at the Park Plaza Westminster Bridge, where business group Logistics UK revealed the winners of the Logistics Awards 2025.
Now in its ninth year, the annual ceremony honours the businesses and individuals who have delivered outstanding contributions to the logistics and supply chain industry over the past twelve months. Supported by Crown Oil, this year's awards attracted impressive entries from across the road, rail, sea and air sectors, each demonstrating exceptional commitment, expertise and innovation.
Among the organisations recognised were the Port of Dover, Woodland Logistics, GXO, Glasgow Prestwick Airport and DP World. In a rare decision, the judges awarded two winners in the Rising Star of the Year category, acknowledging the remarkable calibre of finalists: Beth Baxter, Fleet Coordinator at Swain Container Solutions, and Elliott Lancaster, Innovation Manager at Omnes Global and PhD candidate at Keele University.
The prestigious Lifetime Achievement Award was presented to Malcolm Wilson, former CEO at GXO Logistics, while John Trenchard, Vice President Commercial & Supply Chain at DP World, received Logistics Leader of the Year.
Trenchard was celebrated for his Modal Shift Programme, which successfully removed 28,000 tonnes of CO2 and nearly 9 million truck miles in 2024.
The evening also marked the announcement of Logistics UK's Transport Manager of the Year 2025, sponsored by Samsara, with the top honour awarded to Lee Thompson-Halls, Fleet Transport Manager at Brocklesby Ltd.
Ben Fletcher, Chief Executive of Logistics UK, said:
"Every year we are proud to host the Logistics Awards, showcasing the widespread skills, talent and expertise of our industry.
The quality of entrants was extremely impressive and acts as a reminder of the exceptional organisations and individuals working in the sector today.
Those who were shortlisted should be incredibly proud of their achievements--competition was fierce, and the judges had a difficult task selecting the winners."
