Total Group welcomes its first Renault trucks to its fleet

Total Group has taken delivery of its first Renault trucks, two T-Range T480 6x2 tractor units whichare being predominantly used to supply reinforced steel products for use on HS2. Supplied by Revival Solutions Group through Renault Truck Commercials on a three-year term, the two trucks come with sleeper cab, mirror cameras, telematics and are ULEZ compliant and equipped to Direct Vision Standard (DVS). The West Midlands-based company placed the order after using a demonstrator T-Range from Renault Truck Commercials for two weeks and reviewing its performance.

Joe Law, Strategic Development Director at Total Group, said: "We believe that Renault is the best product on the market for us at the moment. Not only due to the industry-leading fuel efficiency and the ability to pull our steel products effectively, but the way it delivers fantastic data and analytics through RT OptiFleet." RT Optifleet is a fleet management system from Renault Trucks designed to help customers optimise their vehicle fleets, improve driver performance and reduce operating costs.

Joe added: "These trucks are being operated out of our facilities in Wolverhampton and Cannock and will be mainly used for supplying our steel reinforced products for major UK infrastructure projects that are keen to reduce their environmental impact. "Sustainability is a major driver for our business, and we are investing heavily in ways to reduce ourcarbon footprint. These new vehicles will help optimise the way we drive by making real time decisions on journey planning.

This is just the start, and further investment is planned in a fleet of EV vehicles." Total Group, which comprises Total Construction Supplies (Processing) and Reinforcement Solutions Ltd, provides a full suite of reinforcement solutions designed to support large scale slabs, heavy loads and high traffic infrastructure typically found in warehouses, production plants and logistics hubs. Expansive production capabilities deliver both high-volume and bespoke pre-cast products, all offering strength, consistency, dimensional accuracy and, thanks to high-tech finishing facilities, able to operate in some of the world's most demanding environments.

It's the first time the company has worked with Renault after previously having DAF and MAN trucks." In addition to the two new trucks, Revival Solutions Group is also providing a T-Range tractor unit on spot hire, offering Total Group greater fleet flexibility during peak delivery times and when serving quick turnaround orders from clients across construction, defence, infrastructure and transport.
