Swedish tracking firm Postrack launches UK operation

Swedish GPS asset tracking specialist Postrack has launched a new UK business offering asset management solutions for the road transport, warehousing, international freight and container sectors. The company's battery-powered devices are designed for both indoor and outdoor use, providing end-to-end visibility of powered and unpowered assets including containers, trailers, vehicles, last-mile delivery cages, high-value cargo and temperature-controlled goods.
Postrack's units feature a battery life of up to 20 years and are built to withstand demanding operating environments with IP68 or IP69K ratings. The technology is designed to be ultra-rugged, reliable and effective in extreme conditions. Niclas Holm, founder and CEO at Postrack, said: "Our comprehensive portfolio of asset tracking solutions is proven to deliver improved operational efficiency, reduced costs and enhanced utilisation, as well as preventing theft, loss or misuse.
Our success in Scandinavia and across mainland Europe means we are well-placed to help both end-user operators and technology providers in the UK." Scandinavian logistics giant PostNord uses Postrack devices on thousands of containers, which has helped reduce rental costs by 24%. Another customer, pan-European trailer operator NTEX, has achieved 100% visibility across its 1,200-strong European trailer fleet, cutting downtime, operating costs and environmental impact.
"Postrack lets customers know where their assets are, where they've been and how they move at all times," Holm said. "We work closely with them to ensure they reach their full operational potential through smarter, data-driven decisions. We are already seeing strong interest in the UK and are excited about the opportunities this new market presents. We also have several developments planned for later this year that will further enhance our product range and partner network."
Postrack has offices in Sweden, the Netherlands and the UK and delivers fully managed, end-to-end asset tracking solutions across industries including transport, logistics, construction, waste management and agriculture.
