Motor Transport Awards 2025 reward the very best in road transport

No one company dominated the 2025 Motor Transport Awards, with two outstanding 3PLs Knowles Logistics and Malcolm Logistics being the only multiple winners with two trophies each. Knowles took the Business Excellence and Sustainable Transport Awards while Malcolm picked up the Partnership Award with its customer Edrington UK and the coveted Haulier of the Year title.
DFDS Logistics continued its successful run, picking up the Customer Care Award, while GXO also followed up on its success last year by taking the New Talent Development trophy. After collecting three Low Carbon Awards in recent years, John Lewis Partnership chief operating officer Justin Laney added a well-deserved Service to Industry trophy for his ground-breaking work showing how operators can cut carbon now while working towards zero emissions. Gregory Group took the Low Carbon Award this year, while Speedy Hire added to its already bulging trophy cabinet with the Operational Excellence Award.
AIT Home Delivery - which acquired Panther Logistics in 2020 - took the Home Delivery Operator of the Year accolade and the DAF XF resumed its long track record of wins in the Fleet Truck of the Year category. The 1,200 guests at the Grosvenor House Hotel were entertained by presenters Rob Beckett and Rob Brydon before dancing the night away to live music from High on Heels. The charity casino supported by Palletline and a silent auction raised an amazing GBP23,000 for overseas development charity Transaid thanks to the enormous generosity of our guests.
Congratulations to all our winners and finalists, and more coverage of what is still the biggest event in road transport can be found on our dedicated Awards website[1].
The 40th anniversary Motor Transport Awards will be held slightly later than usual next year, on September 9 - put the date in your diary now!
