HIVED launches all-electric haulage with electric HGV fleet

HIVED, the UK's first fully electric parcel delivery network, has announced a major expansion of its service offering, bringing its pioneering approach in sustainable logistics to the haulage and long-distance transportation sector. Since its inception, HIVED has been on a mission to radically rethink parcel delivery and the infrastructure behind it. By combining tailpipe emission-free transport with a tech-enabled, reliable delivery service, the company has already transformed middle and final mile logistics for some of the UK's most prominent ecommerce brands, including Nespresso, Zara, and H&M brands.

Now, HIVED is taking the same innovative approach to haulage. Leveraging its existing fleet of electric heavy goods vehicles (eHGVs), HIVED now offers electric haulage and long-distance transportation, connecting cities and distribution hubs across the UK with a fully electric fleet. HIVED operates 44-tonne (44t) eHGVs, 7 days a week, from sites in Greater London and the Midlands, with routes scheduled at different times throughout the day to maximise network efficiency and flexibility.

This expansion is powered by HIVED's rapidly growing investment in heavy-duty electric vehicles, in partnership with Mercedes-Benz and Daimler Trucks. HIVED's plans for exponential fleet growth through 2026, aiming to create the UK's largest fleet of eHGVs designed for long-haul operations. These trucks are built to handle the demands of modern logistics without compromising on performance, reliability, or service quality.

Mathias Krieger, Co-Founder and CPO at HIVED, said: "Every electric truck we put on the road is proof that a better way forward exists. Our investment in electric infrastructure isn't just about growth, it's about rewriting the rulebook for logistics and proving that the most sustainable option can also be the highest-quality solution on the market." Isabel Fuell, VP of Operations Strategy & Expansion at HIVED, added: "We're not just announcing a future service; we're already running electric trunking routes every day.

With 44t eHGVs operating from London and the Midlands, we're open for business and ready to help brands make their supply chains more reliable, cleaner, and future-proof."
