JSP Hauliers Expands to New Leigh Site After £300K Investment

Manchester-based JSP Hauliers has moved to a larger site in Leigh following a ?300,000 investment, marking a major milestone in the company's ongoing expansion. The 1.8-acre site offers racked warehousing for up to 300 pallets and outdoor storage space for more than 50 trucks. The new location also brings JSP Hauliers closer to Pallet-Track's northern hub in Ashton-in-Makerfield -- a key benefit for the firm's growing pallet network operations.
JSP Hauliers joined Pallet-Track just over a year ago and has already seen a significant rise in palletised freight volumes. The move is part of a wider growth plan that has already led to the creation of three new roles, with more forklift and HGV driver jobs expected soon. Managing Director Steven Singh said:
"This is an exciting time for our business and this upgrade is key to our growth plans.
"The relocation is the result of the growth we have achieved as part of our Pallet-Track membership and the new site will enable us to build on this by expanding our pallet delivery service and take on more customers. "It's a state-of-the-art warehouse that will enable us to make our operation more efficient as we grow, while also providing first-class facilities for all our staff."
Founded in 2010 by Jarnial Singh, JSP Hauliers remains a family business, with sons Steven and Daniel Singh now at the helm. The firm operates under the wider JSP Group, which also covers vehicle maintenance, servicing, repairs and skip hire.
All vehicles in the fleet are fuelled by Hydrotreated Vegetable Oil (HVO), which helps the firm reduce its greenhouse gas emissions by up to 90 per cent compared to traditional diesel. Stuart Godman, CEO of Pallet-Track, added:
"It is fantastic to see JSP Hauliers experiencing such fantastic growth just one year into their membership of our network. "We extend our congratulations to Steven, and the team, on their success and look forward to watching the business continue to thrive."
The relocation underscores JSP Hauliers' commitment to improving efficiency and capacity in line with customer demand, particularly in the north-west's manufacturing and logistics sectors.
