Renault Trucks Model Year 2025 takes centre stage at Road Transport Expo 2025

Renault Trucks is showcasing its future-focused line-up at this year's Road Transport Expo, 24-26 June at NAEC Stoneleigh, with the new Model Year 2025 taking centre stage on Stand B4, underlining the brand's commitment to enhanced productivity, fuel efficiency and safety. The stand will also feature vehicles from across Renault Trucks' diesel and electric ranges, demonstrating the breadth and depth of a portfolio that spans every application, from long haul and regional distribution to heavy haulage, construction and urban delivery. Visitors to stand B4 will get a look at the latest evolution of the Renault Trucks T, redesigned for Model Year 2025.

On display will be a stunning 44 tonne T480 6x2 resplendent in distinctive orange paintwork, featuring Turbo Compound technology that offers up to 10% fuel savings and corresponding CO2 reductions. Featuring enhancements that reduce fuel consumption by up to a further 3%, the T - awarded a 4-star safety rating by Euro NCAP - offers improved energy performance, upgraded safety features and greater driving comfort, helping operators boost productivity while lowering environmental impact. Rear Digital Vision cameras in place of rear-view mirrors, housed in foldingwings, are connected to two in-cab screens that display the environment around the vehicle, with a further infrared mode to facilitate night vision.

Safety is further reinforced by the Active Lane Keeping system, which automatically corrects unintentional lane departures and improves blind spot protection, helping safeguard vulnerable road users. The optional automatic high beam adjusts to weather, light conditions, and surrounding traffic, complementing the standard-fit automatic low beam from the previous generation. Power comes from Renault Trucks' efficient 6 cylinder in-line diesel engine that delivers maximum power of 360 kW from 1250 to 1600 rpm, and maximum torque of 2700 from 900 to 1250 rpm, which is connected to an Optidriver AT 2812 gearbox with automatic clutch.

Renault Trucks' Model Year 2025 range is also available with a fully electric driveline, as part of the widest all-electric range in Europe. On stand, visitors can explore an E-Tech T 4x2 that showcases the performance and capability of Renault Trucks' electric regional and long haul solution. The 40-tonne E-Tech T is powered by three E-Tech motors and six 90 kWh battery packs, delivering a total capacity of 540 kWh.

It offers a range of up to 300 km on a full charge, or up to 500 km with a one-hour intermediate fast charge (250 kW).  Equipped with a high-spec cab designed with driver comfort in mind, the E-Tech T features 4-point air suspension with ride-height control, a heated Comfort driver's seat, and a premium leather steering wheel. Also on stand will be a striking factory Customised T High featuring Renault Trucks' efficient 13-litre engine with Turbo Compound technology. Renault Trucks' construction range is also well represented, with a Builders' Merchant C 6x2 rigid for demanding multi-drop delivery environments.  With a 4900mm wheelbase and lifting rear steer axle, this MY2025 truck is a brand new addition to the Renault Trucks UK demonstration fleet. Alongside this is the highly regarded C tipper, durable and capable, ideal for on-site work with exceptional traction. Additionally on Stand B4 is a heavy haulage vehicle from the Used Trucks by Renault Trucks range - an 80 tonne Renault Trucks C520 6x4 tractor unit.
