Drivers face severe delays as lorry ‘well alight’ on A1(M) near Hatfield

"Five pumps are on the scene, Highways and police are present.

Welwyn Hatfield Police are also in attendance at the scene dealing with traffic and road closures, they have said online: "We are currently dealing with a vehicle fire on the A1(M).

"We would ask you to please avoid the area at this time as the A1(M) is closed at junction 3 both ways."
