M3 crash: Man seriously injured after crash near J4 Fleet

Two lanes of the motorway were closed earlier this afternoon, March 13, between J4, Fleet, and J5, Hook due to a crash. A man was seriously injured in the incident, which happened near Fleet Services. Hampshire Constabulary said they were alerted to the incident at 1pm to 'reports of a collision on the southbound M3 near junction 4 between a car and a motorcycle'.

A spokesperson added: "One man has serious injuries.

"To enable us to deal with this incident, two lanes have been closed."

The crash caused heavy traffic on the motorway, with delays of around 20 minutes according to National Highways.
