M6: Miles of congestion on north and southbound carriageways
Earlier today, one lane was closed due to a broken down vehicle between junction 23 and 22 southbound.
The vehicle has now been recovered and lanes reopened but there were still 10 miles of congestion backed up to junction 27 at Standish.
