DAF Trucks is celebrating another prestigious award win after its DAF XB was named Best Truck in the 'up to 7.5 tonnes' category at the Fleet News Awards 2025, held at London's Grosvenor House Hotel last week. The event, attended by more than 1,350 fleet industry professionals, saw a winning model from the market-leading DAF truck range, while also recognising the company's outstanding support services. The win brings up the eighth year in succession in which DAF Trucks has picked up at least one accolade at the Fleet News Awards.

Fleet News Awards judges praised the DAF XB for its exceptional attributes in the highly competitive 7.5-tonne weight category. Their comments highlighted the truck's best-in-class payload, excellent dealer and aftersales support, and its outstanding manoeuvrability - making it the ideal choice for urban fleet operations. Fleet News Awards comments:

Representing DAF Trucks at the ceremony were John McMenamin (Dealer Development Director) and Ian Grant (Customer Service Director), who were presented with their trophy by Marc Watts, Managing Director at award sponsor The Spectrum Vehicle Repair Group.
