Can I install the Titan S i-Size without the ISOFIX connectors?
From 15 months to 4 years, the product must be installed using the ISOFIX connectors and the top tether. From 4 to 12 years, the car seat belt needs to be used. We advise continuing to use the ISOFIX connectors for increased stability.

As a long-time Maxi-Cosi customer I recently picked up the Titan S Comfort i-Size car seat. It arrived nicely packaged but my first impression was that it looked quite wide, which might be an issue if trying to squeeze three car seats across a back seat.
The installation instructions were not that straightforward to follow because instead of explaining things in text they relied solely on diagrams. This wasn’t the most intuitive approach, especially for me because I’d never installed a car seat with a top tether before. After watching a video online the installation process turned out to be very straightforward, and it didn’t feel as wide once installed in place.
The seat itself is really good. It feels sturdy and well-made, with ample padding for comfort (and the little one was quite happy sitting in it). Safety is obviously the top priority, and this Maxi-Cosi definitely gives the impression it would do its job effectively in a crash.
The tilt adjustment was easy to use, but the number of settings (five!) was a bit misleading. In reality, the seat doesn’t recline all that much, especially for younger passengers.
Overall, this is a solid car seat – it prioritizes safety and feels built to last.

Brought this product for my almost 3 year old. She seems very comfortable in it and says she loves her car seat. It doesn’t spin but she can climb in herself so that isn’t a problem at all. It is a very secure seat and it’s very easy to adjust and clip the seatbelt into place. The straps don’t get twisted like on her old seat so it is quick to adjust it if needed. It is very easy to fit as it is isofix took me about 10 seconds! The materials seem high quality and it is very sturdy. I would highly recommend this seat as a forward facing seat, she seems very secure in it and I have no doubts about its safety. I know this seat will last her for a while so I am happy with the value for money, and when she grows out of it I will pass it on to my son when he is old enough to use it! Overall very happy with this purchase and would recommend.
Trs bon sige, a recommande
Sige auto achet pour mon fils de 2 ans, pour passer face la route. Aucun regret sur mon achat, le sige est confortable, les positions d’inclinaisons sont un vrai plus sur les longs trajets pour que l’enfant puisse dormir.
L’installation est trs facile avec l’Isofix. Aucun doute sur la scurit avec la fixation de ce sige. Les tissus du sige sont dmontables facilement pour pouvoir tre lavs.
Ce cosy est volutif, je ne pense pas le garder jusqu’aux 12 ans de mon fils, mais c’est certain que ce sige est fait pour durer. La construction est solide. Les renforts au niveau de la tte sont costauds et rassurants. Bref, c’est un sige fait pour durer !
Mon seul regret est que le sige ne touche pas compltement le dossier de ma voiture, mais cela peut tre d la forme de ma banquette arrire.
Je recommande fortement ce produit.
Fijne stoel die met je kind meegroeit!
Ik heb de Maxi-Cosi Titan S i-Size gekocht voor mijn zoontje van 15 maanden, en ik ben erg tevreden met de aankoop. Het is fijn dat je niet elke keer meer hoeft te wisselen, want deze autostoel kan met hem mee groeien tot hij 12 jaar is.
De installatie was snel en eenvoudig dankzij de ISOFIX-bevestigingen en de haak aan de bovenkant die je achter de stoel vastmaakt, waardoor de stoel stevig en veilig op zijn plaats blijft zonder dat een extra base nodig is (die zit er eigenlijk aan vast). De verstelbare hoofdsteun en rugleuning, evenals de meerdere ligstanden, zorgen voor optimaal comfort, en mijn zoontje kan er heerlijk in slapen tijdens lange ritten. De schoudervullingen blijven goed op hun plaats, hoewel de stoffen beschermhoes bij de sluiting soms omhoog schuift, wat de sluiting iets minder soepel maakt.
Het moderne design en de zachte, ademende stof, die gemakkelijk te reinigen is, maken deze stoel extra aantrekkelijk. Ondanks dat de stoel niet kan draaien, kan je vrij gemakkelijk je kind erin zetten. De Maxi-Cosi Titan S i-Size biedt een uitstekende prijs-kwaliteitverhouding en is een duurzame investering voor vele jaren.

I’m quite paranoid about car seat safety and researched endlessly to find a suitable car seat for my little one, she was previously in an ERF spin seat and the older she got the harder it was to put her in as her head would keep banging the ceiling. This car seat is great as it has much lower sides which means it’s far easier to get her into the car seat- she can actually climb in herself. The car seat is really comfy with lots of extra padding and layers and it also offers a lot of leg room for the front passenger which we desperately needed. Clipping the isofix in is really simple to do- so it has made it easy to transition between cars .

Perfekter Komfort und langlebiger Einsatz dank Multi-sage-Funktio
Wir benutzen von Anfang an die Produkte von Maxi Cosi und nutzen fr unseren 20 Monate alten Sohn aktuell den reboarder Pearl 360 Grad. Wir waren auf der Suche nach einem Kindersitz, welcher zunchst im 2. Wagen meines Mannes eingebaut werden sollte und spter einmal den reboarder ersetzen soll. Hierbei sind wir auf den Maxi Cosi Titan S i-Size gestoen, da er ein Multi Age Kindersitz ist” und von 15 Monaten bis 12 Jahre mitwchst.
Die Qualitt des Kindersitzes ist super, da mein Kind bequem und sicher im Sitz sitzt. Der Sitz entspricht den neuesten Sicherheitsstandards Die robuste Schale und der zustzliche Seitenschutz sind so konzipiert, dass mein Kleiner im Falle eines Unfalls bestens geschtzt ist. as den Komfort angeht, ist der Titan S Comfort ein Traum. Die Polsterung ist sehr weich und das Design ist super ergonomisch. Durch die 5 Stufen Verstellbarkeit der Sitzflche, ist gewhrleistet, dass das Kind auch bei Schlfchen nicht nach vorne wegsackt. Dies untersttzt ebenfalls die hhenverstellbare Kopf- und Nackensttze. Der weiche und atmungsaktive Stoff des Sitzes, runden den Sitzkomfort ab. Zudem nutzen wir aktuell den 5-Punkt Gurt, der im Wachstumsverlauf des Kindes auf einem 3-Punkt Gurt umgerstet werden kann und somit das Multi Age Paket perfekt abrundet. Das Verstellen der Kopfsttze und der Gurte ist sehr einfach und selbsterklrend.
Dank isofix lsst sich der Sitz einfach und bequem ins Auto einbauen. Der Bezug lsst sich leicht abnehmen und ist maschinenwaschbar, sodass es ein Kinderspiel ist, ihn sauber zu halten.
Das einzige Manko” ist das Einsteigen/Festschnallen in einem nicht drehbaren Sitz schwieriger, als in der drehbaren Variante des Reboarders. Dies wird sich aber mit zunehmenden Alter des Kindes ndern.
Abschlieend kann ich den Maxi Cosi Titan S i-Size nur jedem empfehlen, der auf der Suche nach einem komfortablen, einfach einzubauenden, sicheren und langlebigen Multi-Age-Kindersitz ist.
The Maxi-Cosi Titan S i-Size car seat is an excellent car seat that can be used from 15 months to 12 years old.
I have two children and although I primarily use it for my three year old I have also used it for my five year old.
For my three year old I have the isofix and back brace belt used, she uses the full 5 point safety harness. It is of brilliant quality, the material feels luxurious and also keeps her cool on a hot day. As she still falls asleep on her journeys I like the fact I can still recline the seat for her and it stops the well known head bobbing of a seat that doesn’t have this feature.
For my five year old he is at the height limit to utilise the seatbelt. Which means the back brace belt is not needed for him. This then folds up in a convenient storage flap in the back of the seat. The back of the seat is height adjustable and the belt is guided through specific loops which are helpfully coded green.
He finds the seat comfortable and enjoys using it .
In conclusion if I could choose to buy the seat again or an alternative I’d choose this seat every time.
The Maxi-Cosi Titan S i-Size car seat can be used from 15 months to 12 years old. The joy of this car seat is that I can use it for both my children with simple, interchanging features. Primarily I have been using this seat my 3 year old however I have also used it for my other daughter who is 6 and she fits wonderfully into the seat to, Win Win!
One of the best features of this seat is the five point safety harness, moving from a baby seat to a toddler seat has always concerned me with regards to the seat belt, however this solved the problem.
Like most 3 year olds, my daughter likes to fall asleep in the car and this seat continues to keep her safe, while keeping her head fixed, and best of all, allows her to recline back in the chair.
This car seat has been a great addition to our family. Not only is it easy to fix in the car, it also is easy to remove should you need to. The exterior padding is easy to remove should there be any accidents that you need to clear up, and most importantly, it’s easy to put back together.
I would highly recommend purchasing this car seat, it is one of the better ones we have had through our journey.
