Ukrainian Motor-G presents electric motor for interceptor drones

Ukrainian company Motor-G has presented the Vandal electric motor for interceptor drones, Defender Media reported. It is noted that the developers created Vandal after finding out that interceptor drones fly longer than other drones at maximum load. Therefore, they need more powerful motors, but with dimensions similar to regular ones.

"Preliminarily, Vandal shows 10% better efficiency in all modes, and can also last longer at high loads than conventional motors," the publication quotes Motor-G CEO Oleksiy Greben.

It is claimed that the Vandal has been tested by several companies, and the manufacturer is now preparing to produce the first production batch.

Interceptors with this engine have so far accelerated to a speed of 350 km/h. The Vandal motor is designed for interceptor drones weighing 3-5 kg. Its design allows for the installation of an aggressive pitch propeller thanks to its longer shaft.

The approximate price of the motor is two thousand UAH, but it depends on the volume of the batch. Motor-G is a Ukrainian company founded in 2023. The company produces electric motors for various types of drones.

It was previously reported[1] that Ukrainian-made Motor-G motors for interceptor drones can accelerate drones to a speed of 400 kilometers per hour.

It was noted that the manufacturer produces more than 100 thousand electric motors for drones every month.
