Pret A Manger and Roadchef to open new roadside shops at three locations
Pret A Manger is opening three new shops in partnership with Roadchef[1], bringing freshly made food and organic coffee to travellers across the motorway network this week. The new roadside shops will open at Rownhams Westbound Services (M27, between junctions 3 and 4), Stafford Southbound Services (M6, between junctions 14 and 15), and Chester Services (M56, junction 14). The new locations will create around thirty jobs.
The Rownhams shop opens on Friday 20 March, followed by Stafford on Monday 23 March and Chester on Wednesday 25 March. These openings form part of Pret's medium-term strategy to drive sustainable growth by expanding into travel hub locations. With over 46 million visitors annually, Roadchef continues to invest in modernising its motorway service areas.
The latest openings underscore the motorway services operator's commitment to providing visitors with a wide range of premium, high-quality food and drink options when they travel. Customers will be able to enjoy Pret's full menu of freshly prepared sandwiches, salads, hot food, snacks and baked goods. Favourites include the All-Butter Croissant, Chicken Caesar & Bacon Baguette, and Posh Cheddar & Pickle Baguette, all made throughout the day in the shops' on-site kitchens. Organic coffees, teas and iced drinks prepared by Pret's skilled baristas will also be available.
