M20 crash near Folkestone sparks gridlock and emergency response
A main route has been shut following a crash sparking a strong emergency response. The incident happened at about 9pm this evening on the A20, merging from the M20, between Cheriton, Folkestone, and the Roundhill Tunnel towards Dover and Hawkinge.

Traffic reporting specialists Inrix state the tunnel has been closed coast-bound amid the emergency response.
The emergency services have been contacted for more information.
