Wrightbus Celebrates Apprenticeship Weeks with Events

As part of Northern Ireland Apprenticeship Week and National Apprenticeship Week, leading UK manufacturer Wrightbus is opening its doors to future talent with two dedicated careers events. The business will be holding an Apprenticeship Open Night and a dedicated Insight Day, offering up to 60 individuals the chance to explore rewarding careers in advanced manufacturing and engineering. While Level 2 and Level 3 apprenticeships will fill the majority of the roles, organisers are also hoping to generate interest in graduate, under-graduate and higher level opportunities.

The Wrightbus Apprenticeship Open Night will take place on Thursday 5 February from 6pm, at the company's Ballymena headquarters.  The event will give prospective applicants the opportunity to meet the Wrightbus Learning & Development team, learn more about apprenticeship pathways and gain insight into what it is like to train and work at one of Northern Ireland's leading manufacturers. Axel J.

Maschka, Wrightbus CEO, said: "Our growing apprenticeship programme highlights our continued commitment to nurturing the very best talent and giving people the skills they need to thrive in the workplace.  "Apprentices are a cornerstone of our business and play a crucial role in shaping the future of Wrightbus. They challenge us to think differently, bring new energy into the organisation and contribute meaningfully to how we design, build and improve our vehicles.
