Watch smoke billow across NI motorway as lorry catches fire
Motorists have been advised to avoid the area

Lorry fire on A1 at SprucefieldTraffic has been diverted due to a lorry fire on the A1 towards Lisburn[1], police have confirmed.
Emergency services were called to the scene on the A1 at Sprucefield at around 4.27pm, with the incident initially causing travel disruption for Lisburn[2] bound traffic.
Police have advised the Sprucefield Roundabout has been closed, with traffic for Lisburn being directed towards Hillsborough, and slip lane traffic towards Belfast.
Trafficwatch[5] cameras show traffic is flowing well despite the incident.
Images from the scene show clouds of dark smoke billowing across the dual carriageway, with the Northern Ireland Fire Service[6] in attendance as debris from the lorry is scattered across the road.

A PSNI[7] spokesperson said: "The Sprucefield Roundabout, Lisburn is closed due to an ongoing vehicle fire in the area.
"Lisburn-bound traffic is being directed towards Hillsborough, and slip lane traffic towards Belfast.
Road users are advised, however, to seek an alternative route for your journey."
