Live M62 traffic updates as crash on motorway sees all lanes held

All traffic has been stopped on the M62 this evening with emergency crews currently at the scene of a serious multi-vehicle crash. The incident was reported on the eastbound carriageway from J21 for the A6193 Sir Isaac Newton Way in Milnrow, to J22 for the A672 at Rishworth Moor. Police and paramedics from the North West Ambulance Service remain at the scene this evening.

Motorway cameras show traffic continuing to build and significant delays.
