Live M6 traffic updates as crash sees car overturn in Greater Manchester

All traffic has been stopped on the M6 motorway in Greater Manchester following a crash tonight (Friday, February 13). Emergency services are at the scene on the northbound carriageway between Junction 24 and Junction 25, near Wigan. The incident was first reported at around 8.30pm with long queues forming in the area.

One car has overturned. Click here to prioritise Manchester news in Google from the MEN[1] A National Highways spokesperson said: "Traffic has been STOPPED on the M6 northbound in Greater Manchester between J24 (Aston In Makerfield) and J25 (Wigan) due to a collision involving an overturned car.
