Two men have been charged in connection with a series of suspected car burglaries across Cheshire and North Wales.

Cheshire Police were alerted to the vehicle burglaries in Rhyl, St Asaph, Chester and Crewe on Tuesday (February 3). Officers arrested two men after stopping two suspected stolen vehicles - an Audi and a Volvo - on the M6 motorway later that day.

Kyle Draper and Benjamin Evans have now been charged in connection with the series of burglaries. Both have been charged with four counts of burglary, dangerous driving, driving while disqualified, and driving without insurance.

Evans has also been charged with driving without a licence.

Draper, of no fixed anode, Wales, and Evans, of Ffordd Llandygai, Llandygai, Gwynedd, have both been remanded in custody.

They are due to appear at Chester Magistrates Court today (February 5).
