Teenage girl ‘fell out of ambulance’ on M6

A teenage girl "fell out of the back of an ambulance" on the M6. The slip road was forced to close following the incident, which took place on the M6 southbound at junction 32, linking to the M55, on Tuesday evening (January 6).
The girl was taken to hospital, but is not thought to have suffered any serious injuries, LancsLive reports.[1]
Lancashire Police initially reported that it was responding to a road traffic collision and warned that the motorway[2] would be "closed for some time" as it assessed the situation.
Drivers were warned to avoid the area and look for alternative routes. The incident was first reported at 5.17pm, and all lanes reopened at around 7pm.
In an updated statement, Lancashire Police said: "At 5.17pm on Tuesday, January 6, we received a report that a teenage girl had fallen from the back of an ambulance on the M6 southbound to M55 slip road.
"She has been taken to hospital but is thankfully not thought to have suffered any serious injuries.
"The motorway was closed for a short period and has now fully reopened."
