Police pull over cyclist delivery rider on M60 near Bury
The incident took place at around 8.40pm on Friday night, January 16, when the police stopped the cyclist on the M60[1] between J14 Worsley Braided Interchange and J17 for Whitefield and Prestwich. Officers gave the rider, a 30-year-old man, a traffic offence report notice and "advised (him) on traffic laws". A spokesperson for GMP said: "Our officers stopped a cyclist between junctions 14 and 17 on the M60 at around 8:40pm on Friday, January 16.
"A 30-year-old man was given a traffic offence report notice and advised on traffic laws."
An eyewitness said they saw a "delivery person" with a push bike that had a "food box on the back" having been pulled over on the M60 by two police vehicles.
