M11 crash RECAP: Major motorway sparks huge delays near UK airport after collision
Drivers are facing delays of up to two hours on a busy section of the M11[1] amid traffic chaos following a huge crash[2]. National Highways said the delays, which are considered "severe" are occurring in Essex, between junctions 10 (Royston) and 8 (Stansted). Traffic is being funnelled into lane three as lanes one and two are closed following the crash.

Congestion is still severe on the M11 southbound between junctions J10 and J8, National Highways has said. There are currently delays of 1 and a half hours against expected traffic, the agency warned drivers.
