Hampshire M3 and M27 weekend closures: December 12 to 14
These will be along the M3 and M27 during the late evening and early hours of the morning. If you're planning to travel along these roads from Southampton, it would be best to take note of the different diversions that may be in place. Here are the closures along the M3 and M27 that will be in place during the weekend of Friday, December 12, to Sunday, December 14.

Hampshire M3 and M27 closures for Friday, December 12
M3
On the M3 northbound, there will be an exit slip road closure at Junction 5 between 9pm on Friday and 6am on Monday for drainage works. This will be a continuous closure. Meanwhile, on the M3 southbound, there will be a carriageway closure between Junctions 2 and 3.
This will take place from 10pm on Friday until 5am on Saturday for fence repairs. Finally, on the M3 northbound, there will be a carriageway closure between Junctions 2 and 1 for resurfacing works from 11pm to 6am.
M27
On the M27 westbound, there will be entry slip road closures at Junctions 8 and 7, alongside exit slip road closures at Junctions 7 and 5. These will take place between 10pm and 6am for major resurfacing works.

M3
On the M3 northbound, the exit slip road closure at Junction 5 will continue all day.
Additionally, on the M3 northbound, there will be a carriageway closure between Junctions 2 and 1 for resurfacing works from 10pm to 6am.
M27
On the M27 westbound, there will be entry slip road closures at Junctions 8 and 7, alongside exit slip road closures at Junctions 7 and 5. These will take place between 10pm and 6am for major resurfacing works. Recommended reading:

M3
On the M3 northbound, the exit road slip road closure at Junction 5 will continue all day, until 6am on Monday.
Also, on the M3 northbound, there will be a carriageway closure between Junctions 2 and 1 for resurfacing works from 10.30pm to 5.30am. Meanwhile, on the M3 southbound, there will be an exit slip road and partial roundabout closure at Junction 9 for major improvement work from 9pm to 6am.
M27
On the M27 westbound, there will be entry slip road closures at Junctions 8 and 7, alongside exit slip road closures at Junctions 7 and 5. These will take place between 10pm and 6am for major resurfacing works.
