M5 queues after rush-hour crash near Taunton
One lane of the M5 was closed after a crash in Somerset this afternoon (Friday, November 28). There were delays building on the southbound carriageway of the motorway between junction 25 and 26. One person said: "Accident Lane 3 southbound between J25 & 26 (just before Taunton Deane services)."
Roads and traffic monitoring site, Inrix, reported the crash at 4.26pm. It said: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M5 Southbound from J25 A358 (Taunton) to J26 A38 (Wellington)." The extent of the crash is not known at this stage.
Emergency services have been contacted for further information.
