M5 crash caused queues as heavy rain hit the region

An exit slip road was partially blocked after a crash[1] on the M5 this morning (Wednesday, November 12). The incident was located at J23 for Bridgwater[2] North. Traffic monitoring site Inrix reported slow traffic due to the crash.

The crash was reported at 9.02am.

Inrix said: "M5 Northbound exit slip road partially blocked, slow traffic due to accident at J23 A39 (Bridgwater North)."

The M5 cleared later in the morning.
