M11 crash LIVE: Major UK motorway closed after collision sparks huge queues
The M11 has been brought to a standstill this morning after a crash caused two lanes to close. Long queues have been reported between junctions 9 and 8 as drivers are warned of traffic continuing for miles. Fire crews from Saffron Walden attended the scene of the crash this morning.
A spokesperson for Essex County Fire and Rescue Service said: "Essex County Fire and Rescue Service were called at 11.01am today to a two vehicle RTC on the M11 southbound between junctions 9 and 8. Two crews from Saffron Walden attended. They left the scene at 11.27am."
