Three injured on A12 after lorry crashes through central barrier

Three people have been injured on the A12 this afternoon following a crash involving multiple vehicles. The road remains blocked in both directions after the crash where a lorry has gone through the central reservation barrier. Emergency services are currently at the scene and a diversion route is in place.

The central barrier was damaged in the incident. It's understood a lorry went from the northbound carrigeway through the barrier into the southebound carrigeway, althoght this has not been confrimed by emergency services at the scene. The police spokeswoman said: "Emergency services are still on scene.

Road is closed to remove vehicles.

Reservation barrier is damaged.

"No one seriously injured, but three people taken to hospital for minor injuries."
