‘Serious’ M25 crash involving three lorries and car leaves lanes closed

A crash on the M25 has caused long delays for drivers as two lanes have been closed. Drivers travelling clockwise have been told to expect delays after a crash which has reportedly involved a car and three lorries. At 4pm this afternoon (October 12), Inrix, the traffic monitoring service said: "Long delays, two lanes closed and queueing traffic due to serious accident, three lorries and a car involved on M25 clockwise at J27 M11 J6.

Congestion to J26 (Waltham Abbey)." The road remains closed as of 4pm. It remains unclear if anyone has been injured.

The emergency services have been contacted.
