Pictures show how lorry crashed into roadworks vehicle on M27
 
            
 
A HGV branded online retailer AO livery crashed into an impact protection vehicle at 5.12am eastbound at Junction 5 near Eastleigh[1]. Drivers faced long delays this morning after the crash. The roadworks vehicle was being used a workers were collecting traffic cones on the carriageway.

The motorway was shut while emergency services dealt with the incident and a spillage across the carriageway was cleared.
Traffic was diverted via the exit and entry slip roads at Junction 5, with National Highways reporting delays of up to 50 minutes during the morning rush hour.
The road fully reopened shortly after 9am, and congestion gradually began to ease.
