New team appointed to drive forward Forth Green Freeport

The group will work to attract investment and deliver economic growth in Scotland, while supporting the freeport's Fair Work and Net Zero charters. Tom Morris joins as trade and investment manager, Rhona McMillan as governance and operations officer, Sharon Pryde as skills and fair work manager, and Dr Isobel Marr as net zero and innovation manager. Sarah Murray, CEO of Forth Green Freeport, said: "This is an important day for Forth Green Freeport as we announce the expert team who will deliver the collective ambition of the FGF partners.
"We are working towards approval of the Full Business Case which will release ?25million seed capital funding later this year. "In the meantime, we have been very active operationally. "The FGF has working governance and operating Boards and we now have our skilled delivery team.
"We are excited to welcome Tom, Rhona, Sharon and Isobel who all have extensive professional experience in their respective fields and will be a great asset for us."
The Forth Green Freeport aims to attract domestic and international investment, create jobs, and support Scotland's transition to a net zero economy through sustainable growth and innovation.
