Man died in lorry crash which shut major A-road for 20 hours

The collision happened at around 8.45pm on Friday (October 17) when a white lorry left the road on the A10 at Southery. The road was closed while emergency services, including ambulance and fire, attended. Sadly, the driver, a man in his 40s, died at the scene.

The road remained closed while the load shed by the lorry was cleared.   It reopened at 4.46pm on Saturday (October 18). Police are now appealing for anyone who witnessed the vehicle leave the road, or who may have seen it shortly beforehand, to come forward.
