M4: All four lanes closed due to ‘serious collision’

In the late hours of October 21/early hours of October 22, the emergency services rushed to an area between Junction 5 (Langley) and Junction 6 (Slough), and closed the road heading westbound. By 2 am today, lanes three and four had reopened, but lanes one and two remained closed. A recovery and clean up team had been deployed to remove any debris left on the road.
A little while later, National Highways confirmed that all lanes had reopened.
Due to the time of the accident, they also stated that 'no significant delays reported on approach.'
Details about the vehicles involved, along with any potential injuries, have not been published.
