Live M60 traffic updates as crash leaves motorway closed near Trafford Centre
The M60 motorway is closed due to a crash near the Trafford Centre tonight (Wednesday, October 22). The clockwise carriageway[1] is shut to traffic[2] near Junction 10 (Trafford Boulevard). The incident was first reported shortly before 7pm, with delays of around 45 minutes reported due to the closure.
Inrix, the traffic data company, said: "M60 clockwise closed, severe delays due to accident at J10 B5214 Trafford Boulevard (Trafford Centre). Congestion to J7 (Carrington)." Join our Traffic and Travel WhatsApp group HERE[3]
A National Highways spokesperson said: "The M60 in Greater Manchester is CLOSED clockwise within J10 Trafford Park due to a multi vehicle collision. Traffic is being diverted via the exit and entry slip roads. There are currently delays of 45 mins on approach."
