Woman suffers serious injuries in Cornwall lorry crash

A woman in her 60s suffered serious injuries in a crash involving a pedestrian and an HGV lorry, police have said. The serious collision occurred on Tuesday night, September 16, at around 8.25pm on the B3311 in Penzance[1], at the junction with Eastern Green. A local woman in her 60s sustained serious injuries and was taken to hospital for treatment.

Her next of kin have been informed. The road was closed while Roads Policing officers carried out investigations at the scene. Now, Devon and Cornwall Police[2] are appealing for witnesses or anyone who may have any information about the incident.
