Van hits barriers on M20 in Wrotham

There were delays on a busy motorway this morning after a van hit the central reservation. All traffic was shortly held on the M20 London-bound near junction 1 in Wrotham after the crash at about 9.30am.

No injuries were reported, and the route reopened roughly an hour later. Police were called and assisted in recovering the van.

A spokeswoman for the force said: "We were called at 9.34am today to the M20 London-bound near junction 1 following reports that a van had collided with the central reservation.

"No injuries have been reported.

"Traffic was held while the van was recovered."
