Penzance woman, 60, taken to hospital after lorry crash

A 60-year-old woman has been taken to hospital following reports of crash involving a pedestrian and a lorry in west Cornwall.

Devon and Cornwall Police said officers were called to the B3311 junction with Eastern Green, Penzance, at about 08:25 BST.

The road was closed temporarily but has since been reopened.

Officers said the woman was local to the area and sustained serious injuries.

Her next of kin have been informed.
