Motorcyclist killed in crash with lorry trailer off M25

A motorcyclist has died following a fatal collision on a major Slough A-road off the M25[1]. Thames Valley Police is appealing for witnesses after the crash in Colnbrook, just a short distance from Heathrow Airport[2]. The incident occurred on Sunday (August 31) at around 11.50am, when there was a crash[3] on the A4 Colnbrook bypass, also known as Lakeside road, between a red Triumph motorcycle and a lorry trailer.
The motorcyclist, a 47-year-old man from Ruislip, sadly died at the scene. The man's next of kin have been informed and are being supported by specially trained officers. No arrests have been made at this time.
Investigating officer PC Mark Dunne from the roads policing unit said: "Firstly, I want to offer my deepest condolences to the family of the man who sadly died in this collision. "I am appealing to anyone who was in the area at the time to please check their dash-cam footage, in case they captured the collision or the moments leading up to the collision.
