M62 live updates as crash sees all traffic held and delays building
Long delays were reported M62[1] eastbound between Junction 19 in Heywood and J20 in Rochdale[2] following a 'multiple vehicle collision' this afternoon. Emergency services[3] were called to the scene at around 4.30pm, with traffic held for a short time to allow them to work safely, according to National Highways. The motorway reopened once the vehicles were cleared, with some delays as conditions returned to normal.
