M6 crash: No serious injuries after HGV and car crash on motorway

Police were called at 1.20pm on Monday, following a collision between junction 19 for Knutsford and junction 20 for the M56 Lymm Interchange. Drivers faced long queues on the northbound carriageway as the crash partially blocked the motorway. A spokesman for Cheshire Police said: "The collision involved a HGV and a car.

"There were no reports of any serious injuries and the scene was cleared by 2pm."
