M25 lorry and van crash causing eight miles of queues

Drivers are facing 'long delays' on the M25 due to a multi-vehicle collision. There are miles of queues on the M25 heading clockwise after an incident in Kent. The incident has sparked eight miles of queues according to traffic monitoring site INRIX.

It leads to within two miles of J29 for the A127 at Romford. Two lanes are currently closed. Traffic was briefly held at around 10am on Thursday (September 4).

Kent Police have been approached for more information. This is a live breaking news incident.
