Lorry driver charged over M90 flyover crash

A lorry driver has been charged in connection with a one-vehicle collision that saw his vehicle crash through a motorway flyover near Perth and land on the road.

The crash, involving a white Volvo HGV, happened near the Friarton Bridge on the M90 at Craigend on 7 May.[1]

The man was taken to Ninewells Hospital in Dundee following the incident.

The road was closed for several hours as a result of the collision.

A Police Scotland spokesperson said: "A 39-year-old man has been charged in connection with a one-vehicle crash on the M90 flyover at Craigend, Perth.

"A report will be submitted to the Procurator Fiscal."
