Live updates as all traffic held on M4 after crashes on both sides of motorway near Porthcawl

Severe disruption was caused during rush hour traffic on Monday evening. A crash affected motorists travelling on the M4 westbound from junction 37 A4229 (Pyle / Porthcawl) to junction 38 Margam. All traffic was temporarily held causing long delays.

There were also long delays, and one lane was closed, due to a collision on the M4 eastbound in the same area, from junction 38 A48 (Margam) to junction 37 A4229 (Pyle / Porthcawl).
