Live: M5 traffic queues after crash closes lane
Drivers on the M5 are facing long traffic queues this morning as a crash has caused a lane closure near Almondsbury, according to reports. Traffic monitoring site, Inrix, posted at around 6.35am on Thursday, reporting: "Queueing traffic and one lane closed due to accident on M5 Northbound from J15 M4 J20 (Almondsbury Interchange) to J14 B4509 (Thornbury / Falfield). Lane three (of three)."
Maps show that traffic is queueing for around six miles, from Cribbs Causeway to Rudgeway. National Highways reports that three vehicles are involved. It is not yet known whether any injuries have been reported.
