Delays expected as tanker overturns on A14

Suffolk police officers were called at 10.40am on Tuesday to reports of an overturned lorry on the A14 eastbound by the Copdock Interchange. A police spokesperson said: "Delays are to be expected whilst emergency services and highways agency attend."
Police were called at about 1040am today after an HGV tanker overturned on the A14 east bound at #Copdock. Delays are to be expected whilst emergency services & Highways Agency attend.

A witness has said that the ambulance service and fire service are on the scene in addition to police. Suffolk Fire and Rescue Service have asked people to avoid the area.
No one is believed to be seriously hurt at this time.
Traffic sensors are showing delays on the A12 and A14 approaching the Copdock interchange.
