Crash causes delays at busy roundabout
Long delays are being reported on a busy roundabout after a crash between a lorry and a car. The accident happened on Walderslade Woods exit of the Taddington Roundabout, near Chatham, at 9.15am.
A lane has been closed and Kent Highways is urging drivers to approach with caution. A Kent Police spokesman said: "Officers are on the scene and are assisting while the vehicles are being cleared.
No injuries have been reported."
The incident is close to Blue Bell Hill, where a 12-week programme of lane closures and a 40mph limit[1] has been causing traffic misery for drivers.
Tris Osborne, MP for Chatham and Aylesford, is calling for immediate action to remedy the congestion.
